Verbania, located a little further afield, offers villas and parks, including the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto and Villa Giulia.
The Alto Vergante is located between Lake Maggiore and the smaller Lake Orta, which is a real gem: the town of the same name, Orta, is worth a visit, as are Omegna and Pella.
For mountain lovers, in about 40 minutes by car, you can reach the summit of Mottarone, a ski resort in winter and a perfect location for summer trekking: from above, you can enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view of the seven lakes.

Our Hotel Lo Scoiattolo has a large and convenient private parking area for guests, comfortable rooms and a garden with a swimming pool where you can relax in the sun.

Our hotel has 30 rooms of different sizes to suit all needs: single rooms, double or twin rooms, triple and quadruple rooms for larger families.
All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
A minibar, air conditioning, satellite TV and a comfortable safe are available for your convenience.
Most of the rooms have a small terrace overlooking the surrounding hills.
We ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of every space and sanitise each room carefully.

One of the added values of our hotel is the strategic position between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta.
In a few minutes by car, you can reach Stresa and Arona.

Breakfast

Breakfast, a real ritual for us Italians, is served in the large and bright breakfast room.
We offer a sweet and savoury breakfast buffet to cater to the tastes of both Italian and foreign tourists.
In the buffet, you can find: milk and yoghurt, cakes and brioches to accompany your coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, American coffee, rusks, biscuits, jams, honey, fruit juices, fresh fruit and vegetables.
If you prefer the savoury option, we have cold meats, cheeses and eggs.

Swimming pool

If you don't wish to move from the hotel, you can relax and sunbathe by the pool surrounded by a large garden and bordered by hedges.
It offers a quiet and secluded place with comfortable deckchairs where you can read a book, drink a cocktail, chat and immerse yourself in the water when the sun is too hot.
The pool is cleaned daily (we carry out chlorine and pH checks as required by regulations) and is reserved for the exclusive use of hotel guests.

The Park

Our hotel is the ideal place if you want to escape from the noise and daily routine,
is completely surrounded by greenery and tranquillity. It has a park with a panoramic view
of the Maggiore lakes, of Monate and Varese where you can take a walk and enjoy a moment of serenity.
Towards the middle there are benches and a table
where you can sit and read a good book. or simply to relax in the shade.

Siamo stati benissimo.. L'hotel è situato in una posizione comodissima contornato da una vegetazione ben curata.. Il personale è meraviglioso gentile e affabile. Le camere sono accoglienti e pulite.. C'è un clima di grande relax.. la colazione a buffet è per tutti i gusti nel rispetto delle norme anti covid.. Abbiamo fatto il bagno in piscina..ci siamo trovati molto bene e ci ritorneremo.. CONSIGLIATISSIMO👍👍👍

Hotel in collina con vista sul Lago Maggiore. Camere molto spaziose, pulitissime, confortevoli e tranquille. Bagno grande e luminoso, pulitissimo. Grandi balconi vista lago. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Nelle camere dotate anche di Wi-Fi e TV, è possibile regolare sia il caldo che l'aria condizionata. Prezzo onesto vista la posizione vista lago e immersa nel verde a due passi dall'uscita dell'autostrada. Completa la struttura una piscina con un solarium su prato e un giardino curato con una parte dedicata ai bambini con tanti giochi.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per un weekend fuoriporta.
I proprietari sono davvero gentilissimi e disponibili ad ogni evenienza. Ottimo livello di pulizia e servizi disponibili.
Colazione ricca e nel pieno rispetto delle normative anti-covid. Assolutamente consigliato. Ci torneremo.

Hotel in ottima posizione strategica, adatto al relax con piscina ben curata.
10 min in macchina si arriva al terminal per il battello dove si possono visitare le isole spettacolari.
Sempre in macchina si raggiuggono i paesini sul lago dove si trova di tutto dal ristorante ai locali notturni con un bellissimo lungo lago.
Personale molto cortese e gentile, colazione al buffet ottima molto ben assortita.

Ottimo posto per rilassarsi molto elegante e comodo da raggiungere.
È dotato di un comodo parcheggio e di una piscina, collegato con un comodo ristorante pizzeria dove ha un menu ben fornito.
Un bel posto dove riposare e ripartite per visitare i lunghi nei dintorni.
Un posto strategico per andare al Mottarone, Stresa, Arona, Orta San Giulio e in altri posti molto interessanti. È ben pulito e ordinato il personale è molto disponibile, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, nel ristorante attiguo si mangia piuttosto bene. Consigliato

Hotel di categoria superiore nel senso che si tiene conto della simpatia e disponibilità dei proprietari della struttura molto pulita organizzazione nel trattamento dei clienti ben riposta.
Sono molto gentili e cercano di metterti a proprio agio.
Il posto dove si trova è strategico sua per gruppi che per privati che vogliono visitare il lago Maggiore o il lago d'Orta o andare al Mottarone o salire nella statua del San Carlone.
La notte si dorme bene perché è molto silenzioso è c'è Ange una bella piscina che si può utilizzare in primavera, estate e prendere il sole in pieno relax.
Molto adatto a chi ama viaggiare.
